About Me

I'm a caring and compassionate Clinical Psychologist with experience working in the NHS in both adult and child mental health services, specialising in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

I'm passionate about working together with you to help ease your distress, whatever it looks like, and to achieve your goals using a range of evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, and systemic approaches

I truly believe that change is possible. I'll take the time to really understand what you're going through and equip you with the skills and strategies to improve your well-being, so you can get back to enjoying your life to the fullest.

Who I Work With

As a Clinical Psychologist, I am fully trained to work across the life-span, so with all ages and stages of life.

Within the NHS, I currently specialise in working with children, adolescents and their families. Throughout my career I’ve worked with adults of working age, older adults and people with learning disabilities.

For children under 10, sessions primarily focus on working with parents and carers.

Older children and teenagers can have private sessions, with the option for parents/carers to join if preferred. Joint sessions can be beneficial to ensure we are all working together to bring about positive changes.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions and determine if I am the right fit for you as your therapist.

  • Typically, therapy sessions last 50 minutes. However, the length of the session may vary based on your specific needs and the type of therapy being provided (e.g. longer sessions for trauma reprocessing)

  • The number of sessions needed varies for each individual and depends on your specific goals and progress. This will be discussed and adjusted throughout the therapy process.
